Festival de Arte de Santiago
Was a public art event developed every January for three consecutive days in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Financed with my own resources the festival turned out to be the only art event with inclusive character in the Dominican Republic. Furthermore, was the only art event to break with racial, gender and socio-economic exclusivity that also banned the presence of local alcohol companies and mainstream political propaganda. The festival brought visibility to the local independent art scene and all its disciplines, becoming international at its third and last version. Setting the space for local and international artist to meet and exchange, covered by local and international media alike.
